No, that's a legit excuse!

  • There's nothing more humbling than standing outside in cold weather asking broke college students to donate money to help REAL broke people... of all the excuses we've heard today, aside from "I'm cold, I can't take my hands out of my pockets" this one was pretty legit.
  • Phil: WHY ARE YOU OUTSIDE DOING THIS ON THE DRILL FIELD ARE YOU CRAZY?
  • Me: I know, I suck - I signed up for this time slot not thinking that I would be standing in the middle of a tundra. Want to donate money for vitamins to kids in Honduras?
  • Phil: Yeah! I totally would BUT... I'm going to London in a couple of hours for my Senior Design project and all I have is British currency. Can I give you money when I get back?
  • Me: You're going to London in a few hours?! Can we switch lives?
