Matt and I are going to Miami in December for a wedding. We’ll be flying out here - where winter will be in full swing. When we land in Miami, it will practically be Summertime.

We’re not staying long so obviously we each only want to have a carry on. What should I wear to this wedding? It’s a winter themed wedding in a summer climate. I don’t want to sweat my face off, but I want to look appropriate.

Also, do we board the plane with our big winter jackets? It’s probably going to be cold as a mofo here, but I’m not trying to carry a wool coat on a plane especially when I’m going somewhere tropical. Additionally, I want to wear something that can transition me from this weather to Miami’s weather on the flight. I don’t want to get off the plane and have a heat stroke.

This is weird. Help.

  2. haniemarie said: I used to do this all the time. Dress in layers for the flight (in case you get stuck somewhere!) and bring cardis or blazers over your cute cocktail dress because it can still get cold at night!
