I am the poster child for most out of shape person in the world.
My goal was to run 5 miles today and I ran 2 before I got the feeling I was going to pass out. This is sad considering there was a time when I could knock out 5-6 miles a day no sweat.
You have to start somewhere right? It can only get better.
I cycled an additional 3 miles so I wasn’t a total lard-ass.
I’m bummed, but it’s not like the goal was realistic. Next time (aka tomorrow) I’m hoping I can push myself to run 2.5 - 3 miles and go from there.
