There's Something About Mary

Had to share this app I found with you called Shopsavvy. It’s available in most smart phone app stores. It’s free for the iPhone so that’s a major plus.

I’m so obsessed with this app. I found it while searching for an app that would read QR codes. It turns out this one reads both QR codes and bar codes! It does it rather well too. It uses your camera to scan a barcode and as soon as it reads it, it tells you want the item is and the lowest price on it. It gives you reviews of the item if there are any and you can do a search for the item price in local stores to see where you can get it for the lowest price? How awesome is that?! 

I’m not a huge tech person and it took me a few minutes to figure out how QR codes worked. I was like, how is my phone going to scan a freaking square and direct me to another website or decode the message hidden in that QR square? Apparently you do it with an app and it’s AWESOME!
