I really gotten into Lana Del Rey lately and I love the recordings of Video Games and Born to Die etc… but you guys… she’s SO atrocious live. I mean her SNL performance was just so bad and it’s not just SNL, it’s EVERYWHERE she goes live.
This is totally a let down because I’m pulling for her. I know it’s early in her career so do you think it’s just nerves and she’s scared of large crowds because she’s not used to them? I mean, I would be freaked out too if I had to sing some really personal songs in front of a lot of people.
Is this a Cat Power kind of thing where she just gets massive anxiety and will decide not to perform live a lot?
I really don’t want her to be this bad live, but it’s kind of unbearable to watch.
