Aw yay!

I got a phone call from an old college research buddy tonight who was in Disney world for the 4th of July.

I bet the fireworks are going to be ridiculously amazing!

I was pretty excited to hear from him, we haven’t talked in so long and it’s kind of depressing being here in a place that is the complete opposite of America studying for 3 exams on the 4th of July.

Last year, my parents were out of the country and my sister and I were setting off fireworks on our deck (wood & fire = not a good idea, but still fun nonetheless). I miss those times. And I miss how apeshit my town goes for the 4th of July with parades and such.
