My Dad is always early for everything. This morning he made me get up at 4am for an 8am flight… I understand I’m flying out of an airport that I don’t normally fly out of and we have to factor in travel time and possible morning traffic time but the fact remains I am 2 hours early for a domestic flight. The Better Business Bureau definitely knows how to light a fire under a person’s ass. Filed the complaint about a week ago and received a frantic voicemail from the account secretary telling me she would fix it as soon as possible.

Isabel Toledo for Payless is AMAZING
Matt’s sister got me this pair for Christmas and I absolutely love them! I haven’t gotten anything from Payless in the LONGEST time, but I will vouch for these shoes and say that they are quite well made and are VERY comfortable. The platform makes them so easy to work in and the little island platform in the front is reminiscent of Charlotte Olympia’s shoes.

Happy Holidays!
I just spent the last couple days with Matt’s family and it was just wonderful. As usual, Matt’s mom spoiled us with delicious breakfasts EVERY morning. We got to spend more time with his sister and brother-in-law than usual. I met some of his other family members, had a shot with his neighbor, and we got to see some old friends we haven’t seen in awhile.

Last night Matt and I went through his mom’s recipe book and picked out our favorites. She bought him an empty cook book and now she’s going to put the recipes we chose in it. How cute is that?
