Matt, the badass.
It snowed in Virginia over the weekend and where the bf is, it snowed about 10 inches. So tonight my boyfriend decided he wanted to give me a heart attack by going on a night hike (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) with two friends.
Obviously, I was flipping out because a) it snowed almost a foot and b) he wants to go climb a mountain he’s never climbed before in the dark! c) What if...

Why are there a billion drugs and modes of action for each drug?
Currently studying Pharmacology right now and it’s ridiculous. I can’t believe I have to know all of this. Some drugs with certain medical conditions become lethal while others are better choices. Who is it contraindicated in? What if a patient has a bad reaction to it? What do you use instead?

Sister: They're watching uncle Doug's baby for him while he works on his new house
Me: So basically he dropped her off knowing she would get snowed in
Sister: Yeah, he's also sick so he didn't want to get her sick so she's probably with us for the weekend

Sister: Yeah she doesn't cry much. Mom & Dad are obsessed with her.

Vacation Destination Help!
My Dad is looking to take my Mom on a trip in March and this morning I suggested Hawaii or Europe but he refuses to go unless my sister and I go with them since he has filed those destinations under “trips to take as one big happy family.”

It's Friday, I'm in LOVE!
Okay so classes just ended for the week! *FIST PUMP*
And… with that ended a week of exams *FIST PUMP*
With that also came results from the 2 exams I took this week, one in Behavioral and one in Pathology… the class averages were 60 and 58 respectively. I got A’s on both exams. I also have a huge ass smile on my face right now *FIST PUMP FULL ON MANIAC DANCE *

It’s about 80-90 degrees and sunny here every day and I left my sunglasses in a classroom the other day and they were never seen again.
EFF.
At least this is a good excuse to get a new pair, and luckily, this pair was from Forever 21 so I wasn’t really crushed by the loss (I’m going to have to pat myself on the back for not bringing nice sunglasses to the island).

LAME!
I was sick all of last week and while I was sick I developed a rash on my face and my face would also swell up. I got better by the end of the week thanks to Nyquil and Vitamin C but today the rash came back with a vengeance . My face is swollen again and my eyes are super swollen too.
I don’t think I’m allergic to anything in the house. I mean I’ve been here for a month and...
Pick better timing, body!
I have a stye in my left eye. I also have my first Pathology test tomorrow. I’m pretty sure I will need both my eyes to function properly in order to detect Caseous necrosis in a histological picture of Tuberculosis.
Stye, please don’t get bigger. Just go away so I can read the questions on my exams.

I’m watching “Taking The Stage” right now and I’m blown away by how much talent these students have. Seriously, this High School, S.C.P.A is like pre Julliard. How awesome would it have been to go to a High School like this and be surrounded by people who are mastering an art?
At 16, I was worried about what kind of car I would get, not if I would get a record deal.

One of the lightbulbs in my room broke so when I turn on the lights here, the one that does come on is super creepy and emits this green color reminiscent of a bad bathroom light at a rundown motel.
To feel less sketched out, I’m not going to turn on the lights in my room this weekend. Instead, I’ll just hope it’s pretty sunny outside so the light can come through.
